FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for thermal oxidation and carbonization of grained active coals. Device comprises a loading chamber, a rotary drum with an inner vessel of pipe-in-pipe type, a furnace with a transition channel located in its lower part, having an input for flue gases and supply of air for dilution of flue gases and outlet into an intertubular space, and a furnace unloading chamber. Ratio Vvessel/Vfurnace is 1:1.4.
EFFECT: simplified design and possibility to perform thermal oxidation and carbonization within the temperature range from 300 to 750 °C.
