FIELD: measurement technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analysis of condensed media with neutrons, particularly methods for diagnosis of non-uniform state or low-frequency dynamics of a medium. Method of measuring spectrum of a transmitted neutron pulse includes precession of magnetic moment of neutrons in two regions of magnetic field to analysed sample and after with antiparallel mutual direction of magnetic fields in them and measurement of phase difference of precession, formed in said regions, wherein neutrons are reflected from boundaries of regions of magnetic field, precession phase is generated perpendicular to boundaries of magnetic regions of component neutron pulse, wherein boundaries of regions are created by magnetic mirrors with magnetisation vectors in them parallel to each other and directed in relation to direction of vector of magnetic field intensity at an angle close to or equal to 90 degrees.

EFFECT: high sensitivity to measurement of transmitted neutron pulse.
