FIELD: astronautics.
SUBSTANCE: knife for use by a cosmonaut wearing a space suit in a non-g environment comprises a shear blade with cutting edges and a handle. Knife is equipped with a clip and insert. Clip is made with an eye on the outer end. Insert is placed in the clip and is connected to it by means of threaded connection. Shear blade is made in the form of two sword-blades. Sword-blades have a rounded end and a T-shaped base. Insert has two through holes. They repeat the shape of the base of sword-blades. Sword-blades are installed in parallel in through holes of the insert. Gap between the blades is smaller than the diameter of the astronaut's spacesuit glove finger. Sword-blades are installed with their cutting edges towards each other. Clip is arranged to interact with the base of the blades to press them to the insert.
EFFECT: handle has an eye, connected with the clip eye.
