FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates, primarily, to extravehicular activity (EVA). Proposed device comprises cutting tool (not shown) and template composed of two parallel angle section guides (1, 2). Spacers (not shown) are arranged between guides to provide gap (5). Bracket (8) with post (9) and handle (10), which is compatible with cosmonaut of space suit space inflated glove, is attached to the middle of one of guides. Handle can rotate through angle ±90° from bracket (8) longitudinal axis with step 30°. Outline of opening section is marked on screen-vacuum heat insulation (SVHI) shell and pattern is applied on it. While holding the template by handle (10), the SVHI shell is pressed to the hermetically sealed shell and is exposed by the cutting tool in gap (5) between the guides. By moving the template along the contour lines, the SVHI section is exposed on three sides and in the form of a roll it is fixed to the cut edge in the shell.
EFFECT: high safety and efficiency of performing the above technological operations in the EVA process.
