SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to agricultural machine building. System for operation of an agricultural machine canvas-type platform when cleaning from pack contains a drive system. Drive system has a control device and reversible drive elements. When implementing the method of operation of the canvas-type platform during elimination of a pack, there is actuated a mechanism for processing crop in reverse direction. In response to actuation of the mechanism in reverse direction, receiving and lateral conveyors are stopped. Receiving conveyor resumes operation in feed direction in response to operation of the feed mechanism in the feed direction during the first period of time. Side conveyor resumes operation in feed direction in response to operation of the feed mechanism in the feed direction during the second period of time. Second time period is longer than the first one. In response to operation of the processing mechanism in reverse direction during the third period of time, the receiving conveyor is actuated in opposite direction. There is prevented repeated formation of a pack.

EFFECT: there are reduced losses of agricultural material.
