FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical devices. Device for electrochemical decomposition of urea includes housing with electrodes arranged in parallel, cover inlet and outlet nozzles to feed waste dialysis solution and remove the purified solution and decomposition products, respectively. Inlet and outlet nozzles are arranged on opposite ends of the housing. Electrodes are manufactured of various forms of carbon rectangular plates with lead contact pads, working surfaces of which are arranged in working compartment. Contact pads are located in sealed contact body compartments. On inner side of inlet nozzle there is a flow divider, implemented in the form of three longitudinal plates to distribute spent dialysis solution in all interelectrode cavities. In the cover of the device is installed 2-pins socket for power supply to electrodes via contact screws, passing through holes in electrodes and contact washers, adjacent to the electrodes.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of efficiency of decomposition of urea, higher safety and convenience.
