FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: silencer is intended for reduction of noise level of machines and engines. Silencer comprises a housing consisting of a cylindrical shell, rigidly connected with end circular plates with inlet and outlet nozzles, where in housing, perpendicular to direction of aerodynamic flow, there are reactive chambers, formed by circular discs with holes, wherein reactive chambers are connected with inlet pipe, to one of end of circular plates, axially symmetric to housing are attached resonance silencer insert and outlet pipe, and to reactive part, axisymmetric to housing, is attached a reactive part of silencer with inlet pipe, wherein reactive part silencer is installed perpendicular to direction of aerodynamic flow and consists of at least three reactive chambers, formed by circular discs with holes coaxial with housing and inlet pipe, and resonance silencer insert is made in form of a cylindrical sleeve attached coaxial to housing to circular end plate and consists of a sound-absorbing chamber and resonance chamber, formed by rigid partitions, where in resonance chamber there are at least two resonance inserts, fixed on sleeve, perpendicular to its axis, sound-absorbing chamber is formed by circular end plate with outlet pipe, rigid partition and part of cylindrical sleeve resonance insert, which is lined with sound absorbing material, where in sound-absorbing chamber there are at least three exhaust bushings attached to sleeve case, perpendicular to its axis.

EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of noise suppression.
