FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: connecting element (21) for connection of side profiles (101a, 102a) of cable ladder (101, 102) butt-to-butt with each other, in which side profiles should be preferably hexagonal type, and connecting element (21) contains on one side of longitudinal edge of coupling (22), which is connected with first longitudinal edges (201a, 202a) of side profiles, and on other side is locking edge (23), which in its turn, is connected with second located opposite longitudinal edges (211a, 212a) of side profiles. Said locking edge (23) of connecting element (21) is equipped with locking means to fix connecting element (21) along lateral profile (101a, 102a), where locking facilities (24, 25) are formed in form of fastening lug with free end (36, 361, 362) and integrated with locking edge (23). Invention also proposes method of using such connecting element (21).
EFFECT: invention allows to accelerate installation of connection element.
