FIELD: engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to design of a shaft axial bearing of submersible electric motor pump unit for extraction of fluid from wells. Axial support includes of bearing plate fixed on shaft, and thrust bearing with upper, central and lower elements, bearing thrust ring and bearing ring of bearing plate, forming a bearing. For passage of oil in bearing there are through channels, and in shaft - an axial channel. Side surface of upper element encloses a flexible ring, and it rests on central element lying in insert of lower element, fixed in housing of electric motor. There is a locking pin which enables upper element to perform angular displacement relative to shaft axis, and regulator of axial compression of bearing. Upper element is installed in lower element. Along circumference of upper end of insert of lower element are uniformly installed at least three locking pins. Upper end of insert adjoins lower end of upper element, ends of locking pins are mated with springs installed in lower end of upper element and perform function of control of axial pressing of bearing.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of motor shaft axial bearing due to compensation of misalignment of bearing plate angular displacement of upper element thrust bearing without need for fine adjustment manually.
