SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a downhole tubing cutter tool for separating an upper part of casing from a lower part of casing by cutting casing from within. Tool extends in a longitudinal direction and comprises a tool housing having a first and a second housing part, a cutting arm which is pivotally connected with first housing part and has a cutting edge in a first end, said arm being movable between a retracted position and a projected position in relation to tool housing, an arm activation assembly for moving cutting arm between retracted position and projected position, and a rotating shaft arranged in second housing part and connected with first housing part for rotating cutting arm. Activation assembly comprises a piston body located in first part of housing, piston element inside chamber of piston.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of cutting pipe due to improved reliability of activation assembly.
