FIELD: rocket equipment; astronautics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aerospace engineering. Method for payload orbital injection by carrier rocket with a multi-block pack of rocket pods of combined scheme includes multiple stages. At start of carrier rocket, cruise liquid jet propulsion devices (LJPD) of lateral and central rocket units are released at nominal thrust. After carrier rocket achieves longitudinal acceleration, which provides stable position of carrier rocket on trajectory, turning off at least one engine of cruse LJPD of central rocket unit is performed or, it is throttled to below 0.3 of nominal thrust. To disconnect cruse LJPD of lateral rocket units, engine or cruise LJPD of central rocket unit is repeatedly turned on or is throttled to a level above 0.3 of nominal thrust, thrust of which was previously decreased. Separating and releasing lateral rocket units when LJPD of central rocket unit is turned on. Head unit is brought to preset orbit.
EFFECT: increased carrying capacity of operated and created carrier rockets with minimal changes in their design.
