FIELD: astronautics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aerospace engineering, particularly, to devices intended for landing of reusable carrier rocket stage. Device comprises aerodynamic control surfaces, gas-dynamic control system with liquid-propellant power plant (PP) consisting of braking and control engines installed at angle of 15-30°, as well as roll control engines arranged in pairs in transverse plane. Besides, proposed device comprises fuel system consisting of annular fuel and oxidizer tanks with common bearing walls, air-hydraulic system communicated with sustainer tank pressurization system via electrically driven valves and membranes. PP, aerodynamic elements, control equipment and power supply are arranged above any of the tanks of the cruising PP, thus forming an instrument and aggregates compartment.
EFFECT: landing of reusable carrier rocket stage with aerogasdynamic control system.
