FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to friction absorbing devices of railway transport, namely housings of such devices. Housing of friction absorbing apparatus comprises bottom and side walls. In side wall of housing there are intake openings for receiving on appropriate fixed friction plates. On side wall of housing are extruded support flange for support of fixed plates in longitudinal direction of housing. Housing is equipped with at least one limiting stop to limit displacement of the corresponding fixed plate in transverse direction of housing from the receiving opening for receiving on this plate.

EFFECT: shift fixed friction plates as in longitudinal and transverse direction of body, prevents seizure and elimination of influence of process tolerances for possibility of locking device are achieved.
