FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, in particular to friction absorbing apparatuses. Friction absorption apparatus comprises a housing having a bottom and a side wall cooperating to define the inner space of the housing open at one end. Inside the case there is a friction spacer block consisting of a pressure cone, friction wedges, fixed friction plates, movable friction plates, support plate is supported by a set of elastic elements, which, in turn, rests on the bottom of the housing. On the surface of the support plate facing the bottom of the housing, a spherical recess is made into which a supporting initial elastic member facing the surface is mounted. Wall of the recess forms a limiting stop flush with the surface of the base plate, which prevents the initial elastic member from expanding in the direction of the side wall of the housing.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of the friction absorber is achieved.
