FIELD: electrochemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrochemical protection of metal structures from corrosion in soil and water reservoirs and can be used in construction of deep anode beds. Anode bed consists of a cylindrical housing, electrode filler and cable, wherein housing is made of perforated stiff plastic material with distance between holes of 0.8-1.1 times their diameter and is equipped with upper and lower stop and locking covers with gas outlet holes, at centre of housing there is a contact unit of hollow metal tube, at ends of which there are shrink sleeves, as well as split sleeves and inserts, welded together with cable at ends of pipe and insulated from moisture with silicon sealant, space between contact unit and housing is filled with electrode material in form of a packed bed of spherical elements made of high-silicon cast iron or magnetite pellet with minimum diameter 1.6-1.8 times diameter of perforation holes of housing, in upper and lower parts of housing there are fixing covers with gas outlet holes, between stop and locking covers in upper part of housing there is an elastic element in form of a spring or elastic gasket.

EFFECT: technical result is improved resistance of electrode to anodic dissolution, including in corrosive media.
