SUBSTANCE: switching system contains a functional section OpenFlow which configures OpenFlow table by means of logical combining a plurality of tables, each of which sets processing for a predetermined received packet based on conditions and content processing, which are set in each table, and which accesses OpenFlow table to determine content processing for received packet; and a functional section operations, which performs processing for received packet based on determined content processing; functional OpenFlow section contains a functional section search in L2-/L3-/other tables; functional search section in TCAM (ternary associative memory); and main section at OpenFlow treatment, which sets priorities TCAM, L2-table, L3-table and other table, receives search results from functional search sections in L2-/L3-/other tables and functional search sections in TCAM, defines element, which should be adapted based on priorities, and determines content processing for received packet.

EFFECT: enabling control of large volume flows in network.
