FIELD: chemistry; technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of preparing hydrocarbon conversion catalyst composition containing a dealuminated zeolite ZSM-48 and/or EU-2 and refractory oxide binder, substantially not containing aluminium oxide. Method comprises dealumination of zeolite ZSM-48 and/or EU-2, having molar ratio of silicon dioxide to aluminium oxide not less than 100 and not more than 210, wherein dealumination process includes treatment of zeolite ZSM-48 and/or EU-2 with ammonium hexafluorosilicate solution with concentration of at most 0.1 mol/l and weight ratio of ammonium hexafluorosilicate solution to zeolite ranges from 50:1 to 4:1. Invention also relates to a composition of hydrocarbon conversion catalyst, method of preparing catalytically active metal containing catalyst for conversion of hydrocarbons, as well as to a method of converting hydrocarbon material.
EFFECT: high selectivity of catalysts containing zeolite ZSM-48 and/or EU-2.
