FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a catalyst composition for dewaxing a hydrocarbon oil feedstock, containing a mixture of titania and zeolite EU-2, having a molar ratio of silica to alumina ratio (SAR) of over 100:1 in volume. Zeolite EU-2 is present in mentioned composition in an amount of at most 55% by weight. The molar ratio of silica to alumina ratio (SAR) is more than 140:1 in volume of less than 500:1, and the titanium dioxide content of at least 45 wt % and not more than 80 wt %. The titanium dioxide component comprises at least 70 wt % to 100 wt % of titanium dioxide and anatase titanium dioxide component is free of silica and free of alumina. The invention also relates to a method for preparing a catalyst composition and a process for the catalytic dewaxing of a hydrocarbon oil feedstock.

EFFECT: increase of catalytic activity of the claimed composition.
