FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to removal of volatile compounds from concentrated fluid. Method for removing volatile compounds from concentrated fluid containing 10 to 80 wt.% of at least one halogenated butyl rubber and 20 to 90 wt.% of at least one volatile compound,

wherein sum said components amounts 90 to 100 % of total weight of concentrated fluid, which contains at least one step of feeding concentrated fluid into drying installation. At that, said drying installation has first drying section in direction of flow, and main extruder section, which comprises section for degassing of extruder, consisting of conveying section and vent hole with one or more evaporation pipelines, storage section, and outlet section. Volatile compounds therein are removed through vent holes and evaporation pipelines. At that, first drying section represents either mixer-kneading machine, or first extruder, and section of main extruder represents main extruder. Or drying section and main extruder section together are part of main extruder. Drying section therein is located upstream to section of main extruder, and has smaller cross-section than section of main extruder, and product obtained in outlet section of main extruder is generally free of volatile compounds.

EFFECT: reduced power consumption and higher environmental friendliness in removal of volatile compounds from concentrated fluid.
