SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pharmaceutical industry, in particular to development of a new dosage form. Pharmaceutical composition for treating diseases of bacterial aetiology is a soft dosage form. Pharmaceutical composition contains a therapeutically effective amount of 7-hydroxyroyleanone extracted from garden sage root and target additives: carbopol, triethanolamine, glycerin, propylene glycol, ethyl alcohol 95-96 %, purified water, taken in a certain amount.
EFFECT: pharmaceutical composition is in form of gel, has high bioavailability and storage stability, marked antimicrobial action.
