FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in chemical industry when purifying waste streams, formed as a result of phosgenation of the amine with obtaining of corresponding isocyanate components. It is a process to separate an initial fluid stream, including phosgene and hydrogen chloride in at least a first and a second fluid stream. First fluid stream being a hydrogen chloride enriched and phosgene depleted gaseous stream, and the second fluid stream being a hydrogen chloride depleted and phosgene enriched stream. Separation is performed by feeding said initial fluid stream to a membrane separation unit, provided with at least one inflow meansand comprises at least one separation cell, each cell having a feed and two output streams, being the retentate and the permeate of the cell. and at least two effluent outflow means output stream diversion means and comprises at least one separation cell. Each cell having a feed and two output streams, representing concentrate and filtrate. On the side of concentrate pressure in the range of 1.2-4 bar of absolute pressure, and on the side of the filtrate-0.1 -0.9 bar of absolute pressure.
EFFECT: invention allows to reduce power consumption and increase efficiency of separation phosgene and hydrogen chloride at continuous operation.
