FIELD: engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering and can be used to control a gas turbine engine. Method of reducing emissions of harmful substances comprises additionally measuring fuel pressure in standby Rt1 and main Rt2 combustion zones, calculating ratio Rt1/Rt2, comparing measured values of emissions of harmful substances with maximum allowable values and correcting pressure ratio Rt1/Rt2 by reducing fuel supply into standby combustion zone until level of harmful emissions is 1-2 % lower than maximum permissible values.
EFFECT: invention improves ecological indices of emissions of harmful substances during operation of gas turbine engine.
