SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to regulate the operation of a gas turbine engine. A method for regulating the supply of fuel to the combustion chamber of a gas turbine installation includes maintaining given operating conditions of the gas turbine unit by influencing the total fuel consumption in the combustion chamber, measuring the fuel pressure behind the dispensers of the duty (Pt1) and main (Pt2) combustion zones of the combustion chamber, forming the ratio of pressure Pt1 to pressure Pt2, selection of the nominal pressure ratio Pt1 to pressure Pt2 in accordance with the specified operating conditions of the gas turbine unit and maintaining it at the selected level. The method additionally measures the level of vibration of the engine housing in the area of the combustion chamber. When the vibration level exceeds a pre-selected threshold, the fuel flow into the pilot combustion zone is increased by increasing the nominal pressure ratio by a pre-selected value, and after the vibration level decreases below the threshold, the pressure ratio is reduced to the nominal value.

EFFECT: increased reliability of the operation of a gas turbine unit, ensuring protection of the gas turbine unit from vibrational combustion of fuel in the combustion chamber without deteriorating the environmental parameters of emissions of harmful substances.
