FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method and device for emptying the conveyor unit for a liquid additive. Method for emptying conveyor unit (1) for a liquid additive. Method includes at least the following steps: a) producing electrical connection (2) by means of currentless switch (3) which is set up to produce electrical connection (2) if temperature fails to reach the limit value, and b) emptying conveyor unit (1) when electrical connection (2) has been produced in step a). Also disclosed is conveyor unit (1) to supply of a liquid additive, as well as a vehicle with conveyor unit (1).
EFFECT: technical result consists in prevention of liquid additive freezing and simplicity of the device.
