FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to microwave equipment, and it can be used for switching of microwave signals in feeder circuits of different purposes, in particular, in creating switch feeder channels. According to the invention, in mechanical microwave switch, having inlet and outlet connectors, central band rigidly connected with central conductors of the input and the output sockets, grounding plates rigidly connected with external conductors of the input and the output sockets, movable dielectric plates composed of at least two parts, having different effective dielectric constants, central band is made in the form of a closed line connecting the central conductors of the input and the output sockets, and movable metal plates rigidly coupled with movable dielectric plates are intaken.
EFFECT: invention provides design simplification, improvement of manufacturability of the device at stable electric parameters and performance of reliable disconnection of the output sockets from the input socket.
