FIELD: radio engineering and communications.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication engineering and is intended for transmission and reception in broadcasting/communication systems. For this purpose, in method and device for implementation of reduction and thinning in case of implementation of encoding and decoding in communication/broadcasting system provided use of parity check matrix. In method of operation of transmitting side number of bits to be filled with zeros is defined. Determining number of groups of bits Npad, where all bits are subjected to be filled with zeros. All bits in groups of bits from 0 to (Npad-1), indicated by template reduction, are filled with zeros. Data bits are displayed in position of not filled bits in Bose, Ray-Chaudhuri, Hocquenghem (BCH) data bits. BCH data bits are coded as per BCH for generation of LDPC data bits. LDPC data bits are coded with LDPC for codeword generation with filling with zeroes.

EFFECT: higher reliability of communication and broadcasting due to effective restoration of distorted information.
