MULTIELEMENT RECEIVING ANTENNA OF ACOUSTIC LOGGING DEVICE Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC G01V3/28

Abstract RU 2598406 C1

FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to autonomous equipment of wave acoustic logging and is essential during geophysical survey in inclined and horizontal wells with delivery on drill pipes. Technical result is achieved by that a multielement receiving antenna of acoustic logging comprises a metal bearing pipe with a through channel for the flushing liquid, which supports sections with elements of acoustic conversion and electronic units made as separate assembly units in the form of a plastic bushing with elements of acoustic conversion and hermetic units with electronic boards connected to each other by means of tight electric connectors, herewith the elements of the acoustic conversion are sealed from the external well environment by thin-wall plastic sleeves, and outside the hermetic units and the bushings with the thin-wall plastic sleeves are covered with alternating plastic and steel sleeves having slots and ledges to ensure orientation during assembling the antenna of through windows in the steel sleeves opposite to corresponding elements of the acoustic conversion, herewith the said sleeves are tightened with the lower jointing unit due to a thread on the end of the bearing pipe, and the upper jointing unit is made with the possibility of attachment without rotation with orientation by the direction.

EFFECT: technical result of the proposed solution is the possibility of measuring kinematic properties of underground rocks under conditions of high bearing loads, provision of a through channel for the flushing fluid facilitating delivery of the device to the downhole, as well as higher reliability and functionality of electronic boards operation.
