FIELD: computer engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automation and computer engineering and can be used in systems of automated monitoring and control of NPP for constructing safety control systems (SCS) of NPP. SCS comprises multiple identical safety channels, each channel includes stations of input/output of signals of the process, stations of priority control of actuators, controller for automation of safety equipment, safety equipment input/output bus and is connected to the other safety channels by means of cross duplex fibre-optic links. Processor module for automation (PMA) of safety equipment (SF) of each channel is connected to the safety PMA of SB of other safety channels by means of cross links, made on the basis of interprocess interfaces IPI of point-point type, built on the basis of the Ethernet interface and communication protocol of a data level.

EFFECT: high reliability of multichannel SCS, elimination of false control and protection commands output on actuating devices, high efficiency of majority redundancy, wider functionality of remote control and diagnostics from block and standby control stations and upper level of a normal operating system, reduced rehabilitation time and improved readiness.
