FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used in experimental testing objects comprising a destructible membrane. Before immersing an object containing a destructible membrane into the test bench it is necessary to calculate hydrostatic pressure, bench supercharging pressure, volume of its gas cushion, diameter of the drainage hole and gradient of pressure variation in the bench at its release into the atmosphere. Then the bench is loaded with hydrostatic pressure and simultaneously the inner cavity of a compartment with the membrane is supercharged with compensating air pressure. After that additional supercharging of the bench and the inner cavity is performed with pressure of a specified value, then depressurization of air from the bench is performed with a preset gradient of pressure change and the nature of the membrane destruction is registered together with the value of excess pressure destructing it.
EFFECT: technical result is higher accuracy of determining characteristics of the membrane destruction and reduced cost of tests.
