SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of monitoring a filter of a feed circuit for feeding an aircraft engine with fuel, method including a step of determining a current stage from among a plurality of successive stages of a mission of aircraft, including at least a stage during which clogging of filter is not capable of being caused by ice, and a stage during which clogging of filter might be caused by ice; and in response to detecting clogging, a step of determining type of clogging as a function of current stage; wherein during issuing an indication message, message that is issued depends on type of clogging.
EFFECT: technical result is improving reliability of detecting type of clogging of filter.
