FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building - to mechanized rotary-percussion devices and is used in mining industry as a pulse rotation unit of drilling machines. Pneumatic rotation unit consists of case with upper and lower end covers. Accommodating rotor with cams, two coaxial bushes coupled blades, and air feeding and outlet openings, striker with cams, covering Bush and installed with possibility of swinging motion and interaction of its cams with cams of rotor, striker is equipped with blades forming working chambers with rotor blades, air distributor with air intake and exhaust openings coaxial to said rotor windows installed in axial opening of the rotor with possibility of periodic communication of working chambers with air feeding line and atmosphere and interaction of its lever with the striker. A starting slide valve is installed in the air distributor coaxially and can rotate together with it, the valve is pressed by a spring in axial direction. In starting slide valve are air supply and exhaust openings located along the axis of air intake and exhaust openings of the air distributor respectively, and there are additional air supply and exhaust openings. In the rotor and the air distributor there are also additional air feeding and outlet openings made with possibility of connection with additional air feeding and outlet openings starting slide valve respectively. Rotation unit consists of free running coupling to ensure kinematic connection of the rotor to the housing, spindle, coaxially located inside the starting slide valve rigidly connected by one end to the rotor, the other installed journal in the support, which is fixed on the lower end cover. Inside the spindle shaft coaxially articulated therewith in circular direction, with possibility of free movement along its axis. One end of the shaft is designed to interact with hammer drilling, and the second end is equipped with cartridge for fixation of the drill rod with tool.

EFFECT: possibility to transmit axial force pulse percussive drill and circular drums moments of pneumatic rotation unit through the drill rod on the tool, use of the cooling system and improved lubrication system.
