FIELD: lighting.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lighting systems and power distribution. Result is achieved by the fact that AC signal generator provides communication with each feed DC grid power line and transmits AC signal along each feed DC grid power line into luminaire in turns, each calculates its distance from generator based on AC signal. AC signal generator can similarly perform transmission and reception of information within the data exchange with lighting devices across the feed DC grid power lines.

EFFECT: technical result is determination of location of lighting devices in a lighting system, where the location of a plurality of lighting fixtures is determined in the electric mains of feed DC grid power lines.
