FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used in narrow-band signals with known carrier frequency direction finding systems, including in radar ranging, radio navigation, communication. Mentioned result is achieved due to that, method of spatial signal processing involves receiving using phased antenna array with flat rectangular aperture, having dimensions X×Y, of signal with flat wave front incoming from direction (αc,βc), determined by direction finding α, β angles, measured in Cartesian coordinate system with axes, oriented along aperture sides, from normal to aperture, recovered from reference point, located in one of aperture angles, its matched spatial filtration and quadrature detection of all receiving elements voltages sum after filtration, characterized by, that for voltage processing taken from each array receiving element, four channels are used to make in them identical matched spatial filtration operations for given receiving element, wherein in three channels in processed therein voltages phase shift is further added equal to: kX(sin(α)-sin(αc)) - for one channel, kY(sin(β)-sin(βc)) - for other channel, kX(sin(α)-sin(αc))+kY(sin(β)-sin(βc)) - for third channel, where k = 2π/λ, λ is received signal wavelength.
EFFECT: narrowing of angular pattern characteristic main lobe formed at direction-finding system output, increasing received signals angular resolution.
