FIELD: radio engineering and communications.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in systems for determining direction of radiation source of narrow-band radio signals with known carrier frequency, including in radar, radio navigation, communication. Method includes angular scanning of space by means of a phased antenna array with coherent space-time filtration of signal using spatial filtration of extreme element of array as reference, with arrangement of receiving elements of array at distances from each other, less than value of half-wave, wherein temporal signal filtration is performed using mutually-misaligned phase in range of variation of single-channel correlators, wherein coherent for adjacent angles of direction finding at outputs of multichannel by values of phase misalignment of space-time filter for a row of direction-finding functions, each of which is a dependence of magnitude of corresponding output voltage of filter from angle of direction finding, and direction of signal source is taken as angle at which maximum direction-finding function is achieved, having among other maximum value of main lobe.
EFFECT: high angular resolution of signals.
