SUBSTANCE: wheel with blades of a turbine engine contains a disc, outer periphery of which has a groove for installation of the blade root. Between the blade root and the groove bottom there is a gasket. Gasket is a two-stable-positions gasket, herewith in the first stable position for mounting or dismounting the gasket has no force on the blade root, and in the second stable position the gasket has radial force on the blade root to make the blade fix and stable. Gasket is made as a plate spring, herewith the shape and the weight of the gasket are set so that the transition from the first stable position to the second stable position is performed by centrifugal forces. During balancing of the said wheel the blade and the gasket are set in the position of mounting into the groove on the disc. Wheel is rotated with a speed sufficient to move blades under centrifugal force into the working position and to provide a transition of each gasket into its second stable position for stabilization of blades in their working positions. Then balancing of the wheel is performed for elimination of imbalance.

EFFECT: group of inventions increases the service life of a turbine engine wheel due to increased accuracy of balancing the wheel with blades installed with a clearance in its grooves.
