FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of oil pipes. To increase corrosion resistance of metal pipes in media containing hydrogen sulphide (at partial pressure H2S of up to 1.5 MPa) and carbon dioxide (at partial pressure of CO2 of up to 0.1 MPa) both simultaneously and separately, and to provide ultimate strength not less than 655 MPa, yield point of 552 to 758 MPa and resistance to impact loads at minus 60 °C not less than 70 J/cm2 pipes are made from steel containing, wt%: carbon 0.15-0.25, silicon 0.15-0.35, manganese 0.40-0.70, chrome 0.70-1.50, molybdenum 0.10-0.30, vanadium 0.03-0.08, aluminium 0.015-0.050, sulphur not more than 0.010, phosphorus not more than 0.015, nitrogen not more than 0.012, copper 0.15-0.35, nickel not more than 0.30 (or 0.30-0.70), iron and unavoidable impurities - balance.
EFFECT: high corrosion resistance of metal pipes.
