SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to cosmetology and discloses an agent for inhibiting hair growth, containing carboxylic acid, table salt (NaCl), an antioxidant and vaseline in following ratio of components, wt%: carboxylic acid 15-30, table salt - 15-30, antioxidant 0.1-1, vaseline - balance, wherein carboxylic acid is selected from a group comprising: glycolic acid, 2-hydroxypropanoic acid, hydroxysuccinic acid, dihydroxy-succinic acid and 2-hydroxybenzoic acid. Also disclosed is a method of using said agent in on a portion of skin, where there is hair growth, via preliminary removal of hair with roots to create a delivery channel and further delivery of agent for inhibiting growth of hair to hair growth zone.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides an agent which enables to destroy cells of hair growth zone.
