THERMOPLASTIC ELASTOMERIC COMPOSITION AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC C08L23/22 C08L23/28 C08L77/00 C08J3/24 C08K5/17

Abstract RU 2599638 C2

FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dynamically vulcanised alloys (DVA) and, in particular, to DVA, having improved processing characteristics and stability. Present invention also relates to methods of producing DVA. Disclosed is method of producing thermoplastic elastomer composition, involving: dynamic vulcanisation of isobutylene elastomer component, dispersed in form of domain in continuous phase containing at least one thermoplastic resin, to produce post vulcanised dynamically cured alloy; and mixing of post vulcanised dynamically cured alloy with stabiliser based on low-molecular weight aromatic amine, present in amount larger than or equal to 1.5 wt. parts to obtain thermoplastic elastomer composition. Also invention describes thermoplastic elastomer composition obtained using said method comprising post vulcanised dynamically cured alloy and stabilizer based on low-molecular weight aromatic amine, in amount larger than or equal to 1.5 wt. parts, where post vulcanised dynamically vulcanised alloy contains isobutylene elastomer component, dispersed in form of domain in continuous phase containing at least one thermoplastic resin; and thermoplastic elastomer composition obtained by method including: dynamic vulcanisation of halogenated isobutylene elastomer component, where elastomeric component is mixed with not more than 10 wt. parts of cross-linking agent, dispersed in form of domain in continuous phase containing polyamide, to produce post vulcanised dynamically cured alloy; and mixing post vulcanised dynamically cured alloy with 1.5-10 wt. parts of stabiliser based on low-molecular weight aromatic diamine to produce thermoplastic elastomer composition.

EFFECT: obtaining elastomeric compositions having improved UV resistance and process characteristics.
