FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dynamically vulcanised alloy for making tyres and other industrial rubber articles. Alloy includes at least one elastomer containing isobutylene and at least one thermoplastic resin. At that, elastomer is contained in form of small-size particles phase, dispersed in continuous phase of thermosetting resin. Elastomer in alloy is cured by vulcanising system, which contains 1.0-10 phr of metal oxide and not more than 0.1 phr of any vulcanisation accelerators. At temperature of vulcanisation, located in range of 200-270 °C, elastomer has stepped profile curing, at first curing decelerated until degree of vulcanisation, equal to 10 %, and degree of vulcanisation, equal to 90 %, for time equal to less than 15 minutes. Present invention relates to thermoplastic elastomer composition with improved characteristics compared to previously existing similar compositions.
EFFECT: disclosed alloy is stable and its characteristics do not change during operation or processing of thermoplastic elastomer at temperature above temperature of curing or during time of thermoplastic elastomer vulcanisation.
