FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry. Automotive steering mechanism flow booster consists of housing with distributing device with pressure, drain and cylinder lines connected with actuating hydraulic cylinder and control lines connected with hydraulic steering. Booster includes two similar three-position continuous booster spools connected on one end to control lines. Spool passages and distributing edges of these channels in housing form four throttles controlled in accordance with spool. Each of throttles is made in form of one or more radial openings located in one plane perpendicular to longitudinal spool axis. First and second throttles are made in form of twin openings located in two parallel planes, between which there is cylinder passage with two distributing edges. Third throttle interacts with drain line of distributing edge. Fourth throttle interacts with pressure line of distributing edge.
EFFECT: decreased overall dimensions of booster.
