FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to method of buffering pre-stress link skids in caterpillar wheel, to method of installation of link skid on elastic chain of caterpillar wheel with distribution of loads between truck and chain and to wheel axle of detachable type. Method of buffering consists in fact that set of link skids is uniformly distributed along external arc of elastic chain web. Link skids are point connected to web. Link skid includes front and rear parts confined by point joint. Method consists in fact that projecting pins are arranged on elastic chain web. Recessed grooves are arranged at link skids and serve to receive projecting pins on web. In pins included rigid split pins and one or several holes for bolts of link skids. Wheel axle is divided longitudinally into top and bottom parts at location of holes of wheel shaft. Upper part and lower part are rigidly interconnected to form together holes of wheel shaft. Shafts of support rollers are installed in holes of wheel shaft. On side surfaces of top and bottom parts are arranged crimp couplings in form of slot.

EFFECT: possibility of distribution of loads between truck and chain.
