FIELD: military action.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method for military research works on development of small arms and combat equipment for military men having small arms and combat equipment using tactical close-in combatant zone. Method consists in crossing the tactical zone comprising areas of obstacles and fire borders. Crossing the said zone is performed 4 times with alternative versions of small arms and equipment. Health control of military men is carried out before and after crossing the tactical zone. An average rate of target hitting with one burst of small arms, efficient firing rate of small arms repeat fire or number of hit targets is calculated, as well as a complex index of fighting dynamics.

EFFECT: possibility to provide comprehensive qualitative and quantitative assessment of simultaneously fire and tactical training of military men for close-in, as well as enable to assess the characteristics of small arms, weapons and combat equipment.
