PROCEDURE FOR TRAINING IN SMALL ARMS SHOOTING AND COMPLEX OF PRACTICE POSITIONS FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: military schooling, specifically, training in shooting various kinds of firearms. SUBSTANCE: salient feature of invention consists in training of rifleman in skill of suppression of manifestation of defensive reflex which is expressed in involuntary contraction of muscles to counteract to weapon recoil during shot. Complex includes exercises for training in pulling trigger of unloaded weapon, then of weapon loaded in unspecified sequence with blanks and live ammunition and later with live ammunition only. Exercises are performed from different practice positions with use of sports targets remote from firing lines by proper distance. Arrangement of shooting zone is described in formula of invention.
