FIELD: household chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cleaning agents for solid surfaces and particularly to the method for control of spraying pattern when spraying liquid abrasive detergent dispensed from manual trigger sprayer. Described is the method for control of spraying pattern when spraying liquid abrasive composition involving the following steps: a) preparing composition containing: (i) 1-30 wt% of calcium carbonate; (ii) 1-10 wt% of anionic surfactant; (iii) 1-5 wt% of nonionic surfactant; (iv) water and (v) the amount of alkaline and/or acidic pH regulator(s) sufficient for buffering the final composition to pH 10-14; and b) adding 0.01-0.20 wt% of polyethylene glycol with molecular weight of 4,000-100,000 dalton to produce a composition with controlled spraying pattern.
EFFECT: compositions are easily and reliably sprayed from traditional manual trigger sprayer and have high cleaning efficiency.
