SUBSTANCE: invention relates to techniques for description of application programming interfaces. Disclosed is a computer-implemented method of description of operating system interfaces. Method includes a step of receiving a request for information associated with one or more available operating system interfaces. Further the method includes obtaining the information associated with the one or more available operating system interfaces, wherein the operating system interfaces being described using an abstract type system; abstract type systems is configured to provide descriptions of interfaces, which are independent from specific programming languages, wherein at least one interface description of operating system includes a description of parameter types for call.
EFFECT: technical result is automation of application programming interface description.
