FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices differentiating by mechanical measuring means. Linear displacement probe with a universal self-centering system comprising an internal base and external base with fixed internal and external rotation rollers, at least three on each base, serially connected to each other by a belt, chain or rope, wherein when the belt, rope or chain is moved along its perimeter, said rollers of the internal base can rotate in opposite direction relative to said rollers of the external base, spring-loaded roller is additionally inserted to tighten a section of the belt, chain or rope between external rollers, so that the above section of the belt, chain or rope does not touch the rollers arranged on other base.
EFFECT: linear displacement probe with a universal self-centering system has no temperature and time zero drift due to using the universal self-centering system as a targeted object of forces to be measured.
