FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used as a drive for machine tool clamps. Mechanism comprises spacer cams, a drive of their movement made in the form of a driving link installed with the possibility of interaction with the surface of the spacer cams at its linear displacement relative to them, and driven links installed to be moved under action of the spacer cams, herewith the spacer cams are made with a profile in the form of a helical curve.
EFFECT: using the invention increases efficiency of the spacer mechanism and expands its performance.
