SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication systems. User equipment receives a predetermined signal from all base stations and then provides feedback to inform on the quality of signal reception. Based on the feedback, a message format is created that informs the user equipment which base stations are included in a subset of base stations that will be used to communicate with the user equipment.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improved quality of disconnection of channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS), communication device and method allow for multiple transmitting base stations, having the same cell ID, transmit a predetermined signal to user equipment, which allows the user equipment then communicate with the most effective subset of said plurality of transmitting base stations for a specific user equipment.
