FIELD: turbines.

SUBSTANCE: stage of diaphragm of steam turbine containing self-aligning flow splitter (110, 610, 710). In one version, splitter (120, 220, 320, 420, 520, 620, 720) for steam turbine is disclosed, which has central part (122) and two end parts (124, 224, 324, 424, 524), and comprises flow divider (160) located in central part (122), and capture (162, 262, 562) passing generally radially outward, and arranged nearby of at least one of two end parts (124, 224, 324, 424, 524), wherein said capture (162, 262, 562) passing generally in radial outside direction is provided comprising projection (142) of nozzle assembly (140), and also slot (200) located in flow splitter of steam turbine and made capable to hold seal (210) to prevent fluid leaks through interaction surface between splitter and projection (142) of nozzle assembly (140).

EFFECT: formation of welded joints is avoided, which potentially can introduce deformation in nozzle assemblies, degrading performance of steam turbine, and this structure holds flow splitter inside nozzle assembly after subsequent installation of nozzle assembly into turbine.
