FIELD: steam turbines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and devices combining functions of moisture removal and sealing of steam turbines, limiting steam flowing through gaps between shroud of working blades and a turbine stator, namely, to labyrinth shroud seals of steam turbines with a moisture-removing device; it can be used, for example, in turbines, a working stage of which operates in a wet steam medium. The method includes provision of removal of moisture accumulated through a system of through holes and/or slits connected to channels in the turbine stator and, through channels, to an area of reduced steam pressure. At the same time, as the system of through holes and/or slits, radial holes and/or slits are used, located in an annular groove on a working surface of segments of a shroud seal. The labyrinth shroud seal is made with the possibility of collection in it of film moisture, using the annular groove, with evenly located radial holes connecting the groove to an annular collector into a single system.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency during the operation of a steam turbine under conditions of increased moisture content before guiding blades of last stages of the steam turbine, which provides increase in the performance of a stage and the performance of the steam turbine in general; increase in the efficiency of moisture removal also provides reduction in danger of increased erosion of flow part elements, first of all, working blades.
